On June 28, a day stay centre for adults with multiple disabilities “Warm House” was opened in Bobruisk by Bobruisk primary organization “Hope” of NGO “BelAPDIiMI”.
It took 3 years to make parents’ dream come true. Swiss charity foundation “LAFELINE” financed opening of the centre and its maintenance.
The centre will start providing services to the clients in September. Approximately 10 young people with disabilities will be attending the centre “Warm House” from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. Personnel of the centre (6 people, mainly members of the primary organization “Hope”) will be raising their level of skills at seminars organized by the specialists from Switzerland.
Chairpersons and members of the council from Zhlobin, Pukhovichi, Kalinkovichi and Minsk came to Bobruisk to congratulate the colleagues.
By the way, it was the Swiss foundation which helped the primary organization “Hope” to start providing a service “Nanny for an hour” to members of the organization a few years ago. This experience was caught up by other primary organizations of NGO “BelAPDIiMI”.
