On April 2, World Autism Awareness Day is celebrated. On this occasion, on April 1, a photo exhibition “Autism. Old fairy tales in a new way” began working at Minsk trade center “Stolitsa”. This is a joint project of the international charitable public organization “Children. Autism. Parents” and a photographer Maria Shevchenko that reminds that children with autism are not sick but they only see the world a little differently. Therefore, parents of children with autism have altered the familiar fairy tales so that their characters were autistic.
On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition a concert with participation of children’s groups, singers and musicians was held.
